Initial Release
Hey, thanks for checking my game!
I just wanted to share some context about its goals and creation.
A bit of background
This is actually the first game I make and publish on PC. I gave myself the goal to learn Godot and publish this game before the end of 2024 whatever its state was. As you can see, I missed the deadline I fixed myself by a few days, but I'm still happy with being able to publish a first version early 2025.
As I said this is my first project, and it was very much a learning project. I started working on it late on October 2024, so this is a 2+ month small project. It's very likely the game is unbalanced, have some bugs and lacks polish in some area. I also made most of the art and this is definititely not something I focused on, so the game is not that appealing visually.
I also think the design is not completely there yet. The game is missing a couple of hourglass or pin upgrades and sand type to reach a satisfying volume of choices during a run. I have some ideas for upgrades that will also justify having 8 hourglasses as currently it is more efficient to focus on 3 or 4 to get to the end of a run.
I still hope there's a bit of fun to be found for one or two runs. If you happen to play the game and have any feedback, feel free to share it here on itch!
What's next?
In order to have a playable version ready for the end of 2024, I had to cut some ideas. No ETA or specific order, but I'd like to add the following features before I feel this project is finished:
- Balance and fix any major issue
- An achivement systems with unlocks that adds new upgrades to play with
- Challenge runs with custom constraints
- At least one additional purchasable item type in the shop: Time Capsules which acts as delayed potions with various effects
- And maybe a couple of other things if possible
I'd also like to polish the UI to give more information when possible, and add some QoL features. And fix any typo, english grammar and syntax error that are still in the game.
